Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt ~ October 1st-October 25th
Find the Pumpkin hiding in the windows of our downtown businesses! When you spot it, note on the sheet below, what accessory is on the pumpkin. Kids, once you have found at least 15 of the pumpkins, bring the form (or have an adult) to the Downers Grove Public Library to claim a prize. The pumpkins will be hidden until Oct. 25th. Adults if you take a picture of the completed form and email it to
info@downtowndg.org, you will be entered in to a drawing for $50 in downtown Downers Grove Gift Certificates! Entries must be in by end of day Oct. 25th.

Halloween Window Painting ~ October 26th
In partnership with the the Downers Grove Rotary Club we are excited to host the Annual Halloween Window Painting on Oct. 26th, 9am-12pm. We ask that you bring a canned good donation for the Downers Grove F.I.S.H Pantry when coming to pick up your paints, October 26th, 9am-12pm. Pick up is at our office, 933A Curtiss Street. The windows are not assigned and are on a first come, first served basis. Reminders: Only paint windows that are striped. One space per child please.
Items you may want to bring:
paintbrushes
paper towels
paint shirt/smock
paper plate if your child likes to mix colors!
Water bottle for cleaning brushes.
Ziploc bag to put the brushes in to bring home.
Living Cemetery ~ October 26th
10am to 12pm. Presented by the Downers Grove Historical Society at the Main Street Cemetery.
