OUR STUDIO
The Paper Peony is a small greeting card + paper goods studio located just outside of Chicago, Illinois. The majority of our cards are hand letterpressed in-house on vintage presses. We print on 100% cotton (tree free) cardstock providing the highest quality cards that have both visual and tactile quality. Each greeting card we design is touched by hand several times before it is sleeved and shipped out to you.
ABOUT LETTERPRESS
Letterpress printing is a form of relief printing in which a raised surface or form is inked and then pressed into paper. Letterpress or movable type, is the oldest traditional printing method created by Johannes Gutenberg around 1430.
