Anderson’s Bookshop Presents Anika Noni Rose

Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with Anika Noni Rose, to celebrate the release of A Princess Is a Princess on Monday, October 19th at 6:00 pm in our Downers Grove store.
Event Format
This event will consist of a signing and photo line. There will be no presentation or Q&A with the author. The line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:
- Posed photo with your camera taken by our staff
- There is a limit of 2 books from home to be signed (unless otherwise stated)
The “Order Line Number” on your pdf ticket is your reserved place in the signing line. You will line up to meet the author based on that number.
If you cannot attend, you must pick up your book (if included with ticket) at the hosting store within 30 days of the event. We can ship that book to you for an additional charge of $9.99; please call the store to arrange that.
Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.

About the Author:
Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose (she/her) is the voice of Disney’s Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. An avid reader since childhood, she is a big proponent of children’s literacy and started a series on her IGTV (@AnikaAroundTheWorld) during the Covid lockdown called Bedtime Stories for the Littles. Anika has contributed to American Theatre magazine and to the anthology Meeting at the Table: African-American Women Write on Race, Culture and Community.
She has performed all over the world, including singing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Vatican. In 2011, Anika was the youngest person to be named a Disney Legend and is beyond thrilled to be contributing to Princess Tiana’s legacy in this way.
