Charlie Archambault

A dedicated musician, Charlie Archambault began his musical journey at the Old Town School of Folk Music, learning guitar at the age of five. It was there that Charlie’s love for folk and protest music was ignited, particularly through the inspiring opportunity to play alongside the legendary Ella Jenkins. Since eighth grade, he has been an active musician with Music & Potlucks, a non-profit organization committed to raising funds for local causes, including Beyond Hunger. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences, Charlie Archambault remains deeply passionate about protest music and its powerful role in addressing societal inequities. This passion continues to shape his work as a musician and advocate for change.

 Gia Dagenhart

Gia is a budding singer-songwriter with impressive, dynamic vocals. Her songs showcase prismatic snapshots, lush poetry, and relatable, poignant themes. Audiences particularly appreciate her clear enunciation, which makes her well-chosen lyrics easy to understand. Her confidence and ease quickly captivate and draw you in. After courting several instruments, the guitar and piano are her favored accompanists.

Career highlights include showcasing at F.A.R.M. (October 2024), opening for Edie Carey (March 2024), and a live guest performance on Lilli Kuzma’s Folk Festival radio show on 90.9FM WDCB Public Radio.

Raised and residing in Chicagoland, Gia has been singing since she was a toddler. Her early experiences include band and choir in grade school, and enjoying musical theatre summer camps. Gia remained active in music and theatre programs throughout high school, earning lead roles, solos, and scholarships.

Though regularly exposed to live Folk music through her mom’s involvement in the scene, Gia was primarily raised on classical music, video game soundtracks, and 80s/90s rock.

She is currently pursuing a degree in Music at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

If you can’t join us in person, you can still tune in virtually to catch the show!  Make your donation HERE to Charlie and Gia. Visit www.twowaystreet.org for more information.
