Two Way Street Coffee House is returning to LIVE SHOWS at the venue!! Join us once again in this magical space for live acoustic music. The show starts at 8pm (CDT) and the doors open at 7:30pm. On Friday, June 3, 2022 Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents Dave Martin.

Armed with an acoustic guitar and wry wit, Dave Martin writes open-hearted songs whose thematic reaches have included traveling, the ocean, pirates, baseball players and his Midwestern background. The folk-tinged tunes on Martin’s newly released album, Imagination in Focus, exude a charm and zeal similar to that of his fellow suburban Chicago native and musical influence, Steve Goodman, and his lyrics frequently exhibit a Buffettian-like irreverence. This makes sense when considering the genesis of Martin’s musical sensibility; citing singer/songwriters of the 1970s as catalytic to his interest in performing, he took up guitar as a child after meeting James Taylor.
