Pinecone Cottage Tea House – Welsh Baking Teatorial and Tea

Join Chef Pam Geralds in the Pinecone Cottage Kitchen as she guides you through the art of baking classic Welsh Tea Cakes at our Welsh Baking Teatorial and Tea. Learn how to make Traditional Welsh Tea Cakes, Jam Sponge Cake, Bara Birth (Welsh Tea Cake), and Oat and Spelt Chocolate Dipped Shortbread. While you’re at it, you’ll indulge in our St. David’s Day Afternoon Tea for a complete experience.

Pinecone Cottage Weekend Afternoon Tea and Teatorial Policy
Pinecone Cottage is now taking reservations for Weekend Afternoon Tea and Teatorials on our website. For Weekend Afternoon Tea or Teatorials, using the reservations tab, make a date and time selection, to conveniently purchase your tickets through your PayPal account or as a guest. Please call 630.963.9130 for Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations.

Please register and pay for Teatorials one week in advance to help ensure it will be held as scheduled. Your registration is a commitment to attend, and fees are non-refundable. A minimum of four guests is required (not four in your party) in order to offer Teatorials and cancellations must be made at least five days prior to receiving credit for a future event, no exceptions. If you are unable to meet the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If Pinecone Cottage cancels the Teatorial, you will receive a full refund.
