Happy is the Herb Gardener through all the seasons and the years.
One of my mentors, Adelma Grenier Simmons was an avid gardener, a renowned herbalist, an author of many books, and she built a thriving business from her beloved home, Caprilands in Coventry, Connecticut. Some of our herbs growing in the Pinecone gardens were purchased over 40 years ago at Caprilands. My favorite Adelma Grenier Simmons’ book is Herb Gardening in Five Seasons. Christmas is the fifth season and the inspiration for our Christmas at Caprilands Afternoon Tea.

Pinecone Cottage Weekend Afternoon Tea and Tutorial Policy
Pinecone Cottage is now taking reservations for Weekend Afternoon Tea and Tutorials on our website. For Weekend Afternoon Tea or Tutorials, using the reservations tab, make a date and time selection, to conveniently purchase your tickets through your PayPal account or as a guest. Call 630.963.9130 for Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations.

Please register and pay for the Tutorial one week in advance to help ensure it will be held as scheduled. Your registration is a commitment to attend, and fees are non-refundable. A minimum of four guests is required (not four in your party) in order to offer Tutorials and cancellations must be made at least five days prior to receiving credit for a future event, no exceptions. If you are unable to meet the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If Pinecone Cottage cancels the Tutorial, you will receive a full refund.
