Pinecone Cottage Tea House – A Taste of the Bordeaux Wine Region Afternoon Tea
St. Emillion is a medieval, and UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. The town is surrounded by vineyards, and the area is known around the world for its prestigious wines. Last year Paul and I stayed at the Logis de Valandraud which is a chateau in the center of the Valandraud vineyard…close to the town of St. Emillion and not too far from the city of Bordeaux. The Bordeaux food scene is rich, and the cuisine is firmly tied to the local “terroir”, a word meaning the land and the region is known for its quality food products. Ooh la, la so much great food to explore! I have taken the best of the wonderful, iconic flavors and food of the region and created this holiday menu! Joyeux Noël et Bonne Année!

For Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations, please call 630.963.9130. Afternoon Tea reservations are non-refundable; however, they can be transferred to a later date.
