Pinecone Cottage Tea House – A Taste of Sweden Afternoon Tea
This Afternoon Tea Menu takes its inspiration from my visit to Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. This Door County favorite is known for its traditional Swedish food and iconic sod roof with grazing goats. In Sweden, the tradition of Afternoon Tea is most commonly referred to as Fika, a cultural ritual centered around slowing down with a cup of tea, Smörgåstårta, Swedish sandwich cake, Smörgås, traditional Swedish open-faced sandwich, and a selection of baked goods. This unique Taste of Sweden Afternoon Tea menu blends Swedish flavors with hearty comfort dishes and a sweet‑savory balance. Smaklig måltid!
