Normandy, France enchants with its dramatic coastline, rich history, and unforgettable cuisine. The region’s culinary soul is captured in the “Four C’s”: camembert cheese, cream, cider, and Calvados—each a testament to its rich agricultural heritage. Our journey to Normandy centered around the awe-inspiring Mont Saint Michel Abbey, a Gothic Style Benedictine masterpiece perched on the tidal island of Mont Saint Michel. It is known for its historic role as a major pilgrimage site dedicated to Archangel Michael. The three days we spent immersed in this magical setting inspired an autumnal menu that celebrates Normandy’s bounty. Apples take center stage, woven through dishes that highlight the region’s iconic ingredients and evoke the flavors of fall.
