Pinecone Cottage Tea House – A Step Back in Time Retro Tea Room

Step back in time to the Retro Tea Room. Picture being led to your exquisitely set table by an efficient and stylish hostess in a grand ocean liner-like restaurant, a place where you can savor your meal and enjoy the ambiance. The first tea rooms were created for women shoppers looking to take a break and until the late 1960s, women were required to wear hats and gloves, influenced by the glamorous models dressed in the latest fashion and furs. Waitresses in impeccable uniforms were always bustling about, and the menu offered homemade creamed soups, chicken salad, and indulgent desserts. And if your fingers got sticky? Simply dip them in finger bowls filled with rose petals. Join me in experiencing the nostalgia of a timeless traditional 1950-1960’s tea room menu!

Pinecone Cottage is now taking reservations for Weekend Afternoon Tea and Teatorials on our website. For Weekend Afternoon Tea or Teatorials, using the reservations tab, make a date and time selection, to conveniently purchase your tickets through your PayPal account or as a guest. Call 630.963.9130 for Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations.
Please register and pay for the Teatorial one week in advance to help ensure it will be held as scheduled. Your registration is a commitment to attend, and fees are non-refundable. A minimum of four guests is required (not four in your party) in order to offer Teatorials and cancellations must be made at least five days prior to receiving credit for a future event, no exceptions. If you are unable to meet the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If Pinecone Cottage cancels the Teatorial, you will receive a full refund.
