Fair Game will be hosting one-night Youth Dungeons & Dragons adventures this July! These 2-hour sessions will be hosted from 4-6 PM the next couple of Tuesdays at the Downers Grove store.
This program is ideal for kids ages 8-17 who want to learn how to play the iconic tabletop role playing adventure game Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition.
Here are the tables with available seats:
Tuesday, July 12. (Ages 8-13)
Tuesday, July 26. (Ages 8-13)
Tuesday, August 2. (Ages 13-17)
Please only register each participant for only one session.
Fair Game has enjoyed hosting our Youth Dungeons and Dragons since March 2018. In that time, hundreds of players have made new friends, developed teamwork skills, practiced math and reading, and explored their unbounded creativity in a structured environment.
Typically, players will participate in an ongoing story over the course of multiple weeks, but we had a bit of room in the schedule and wanted to host a number of quests for a single night.
Additional information regarding the program is included below. If you have any further questions, we encourage you to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are currently involved in our Youth Dungeons and Dragons program, don’t worry! This program is being hosted in addition to our regular 9-week summer tables. Your young adventurer is invited to join one of these tables, but please note that they might be playing with a majority of new players.
What is Dungeons and Dragons?
Dungeons and Dragons is a cooperative storytelling game. Players create a character like a brilliant wizard or a daring thief. They then control that character as a “game master” leads a group of these adventurers through a perilous quest. Only by working together will our band of heroic champions emerge victorious, gaining new skills and abilities to take on even greater challenges.
The game has been around since the 1970s and has recently gained a resurgence in popularity with adults and kids alike.
Dungeons and Dragons is a great way for kids to explore their creativity outside of video games. They will make new friends and have a great time telling hilarious stories.
