Fair Game – MTG RCQ Downers Grove: Streets of New Capenna Sealed

Fair Game will be hosting 3 Regional Championship Qualifiers! The winner of each of these highly competitive events will win a seat at the Regional Championship at Dreamhack Atlanta.

Fair Game Downers Grove will be hosting a Pioneer RCQ on July 30 and a Sealed (Streets of New Capenna) RCQ on August 13. Fair Game La Grange will be hosting a Pioneer RCQ on August 6.

Preregistration for all events is incredibly important. Seats are limited. Please register in advance.

General Description

Please show up 15-30 minutes before the scheduled start time to have time to check in. Participants will need an official Wizards account to participate. If you do not have an account, you can create one for free here. Participants should download the Magic Companion app for the event. This app will be used for pairings and reporting. You can download that app here.
Participants in the Pioneer event will need to submit a decklist to us prior to the start of the event. We will reach out to you in advance of the event with instructions on how to do so.
Each event will feature between 3-5 rounds of Swiss, based on attendance. There will be a cut to top 8 if necessary.
You must cancel your registration within 24 hours of the day of the event to be eligible for a refund. Failure to cancel before this time or failure to show up for the event on time will result in you being dropped from the event without a refund.

Prize Payout

All participants will receive a copy of Lava Spike. Top 8 performers at each event will receive a nonfoil copy of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and the top-performing player will receive a foil Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (as well as their 3-day pass to Dreamhack Atlanta).

In addition, the top-performing players will receive a store credit prize based on the number of attendees. Please consult the table below:
