Ballydoyle Presents Major Wheeler

Major Wheeler was officially formed in 2019 but has since gone through several changes to become the band they are today. Their origin goes way back to High School where Matt Nelson and Jeremy Miller became friends and briefly played together in a band. It of course didn’t last, and each went on their own musical journeys, but still remained close friends. Fast forward to 2019. Matt was performing solo, and wanted to form a band to accompany his project. Heavily inspired by Ben Folds Five, and the desire to keep the band small, he joined forces with Jeremy and added Mike Martin on drums to form Major Wheeler.

Major Wheeler has collectively found their signature sound and offers something different to their fans by creating and sharing cover songs and original music that is unmistakably unique. They reimagine classic favorites, and unknown gems with their own brand of format and sound. One minute you are listening to a classic rock anthem, next a cover of a metal song, then 80’s pop, then rap. You never know what will be next, but you know it will be good music and good times!
