DESCRIPTION:Beginners and experienced players alike are invited to join us for our Star Wars Unlimited Weekly Casual Play. Newer players should have a basic understanding of the rules of play\, but our staff is on-hand to answer questions. \nWe are equipped to host events of any format\, whether Premier\, Twin Suns\, Constructed\, or Sealed. Through our Star Wars Unlimited Discord server\, we give our community the opportunity to coordinate and decide among themselves what types of events they’d like to participate in any given week. Visit www.fairgamestore.com to join our Discord! \nOur pricing guide for events is as follows: \n\n$5 – Casual Play: Players bring their own constructed decks and play as many or as few games as they like. There is no tournament format for Casual Play and each player receives a Weekly Play Pack for participating.\n$10 – Premier Tournament: Players bring their own Premier format constructed decks and compete in a Swiss format tournament consisting of three 55-minute best-of-three rounds. Each player receives a Weekly Play Pack for playing and a prize pack pool of two booster packs per player will be provided as well. Each player receives one pack with additional packs awarded based on players’ final standings in the tournament. A minimum of four players is required for a Premier Tournament.\n$25 – Booster Draft (store inventory permitting): Players are each provided three booster packs to draft and build a 30-card Premier format deck. Players have 50 minutes to draft and build their decks and then play a Swiss format tournament consisting of four 25-minute best-of-one rounds. Each player receives a Weekly Play Pack for playing and a prize pack pool of two booster packs per player will be provided as well. Each player receives one pack with additional packs awarded based on players’ final standings in the tournament. A minimum of eight players is required for a Booster Draft.\n$40 – Sealed Prerelease (store inventory permitting): Players are each provided a Prerelease Kit with which they build a 30-card Premier format deck. Players have 50 minutes to build their decks and they play a Swiss format tournament consisting of four 25-minute best-of-one rounds. Each player receives a Weekly Play Pack for playing and a prize pack pool of two booster packs per player will be provided as well. Each player receives one pack with additional packs awarded based on players’ final standings in the tournament. A minimum of four players is required for a Sealed Prerelease.\n\nNote: Melee.gg is the tournament software Fair Game uses to run all Fantasy Flight TCG events\, so players should have an account created with Melee.gg if they wish to participate. DESCRIPTION:Pokémon TCG players of all ages (especially our younger Pokémon trainers) are invited to join us from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday mornings at either our Downers Grove\, La Grange\, or Geneva location. Admission to this casual event is free! \nParticipants in the event will have the opportunity to play casual games of Pokémon with one another as well as have the opportunity to trade cards\, swap stories\, and discuss all things Pokémon! Staff will be on hand to assist new players who are interested in learning more about the game\, including how to play! \n\nThe event will start at 10 AM and run to 12 PM. There’s no need to show up at exactly 10 AM\, nor does everyone need to stay to 12 PM. Drop in\, stay as long as you like\, and have fun!\nAdmission to this casual event is free.\nWhile many players get excited about bringing their cards to the event\, please note that there is no need to bring all of your cards. With her honeyed voice and disarmingly honest lyrics\, Cotter sings about connection\, nostalgia\, gratitude\, loss and wanderlust. Lyrics like\, “Find me somewhere out on the road / Take me into your heart and into your home\,” make perfect sense from a touring artist who has played over 1000 shows in 46 states and 19 countries. She has performed at churches\, art galleries\, barns\, yoga studios\, punk bars\, Parisian living rooms and even a schooner off the coast of Maine. Everywhere she goes\, her oracular songs elicit emotion and spark insight—medicine for our collective longing. \nGrowing up in Rhode Island\, Cotter played piano and listened to records by luminaries like The Beatles\, The Beach Boys\, The Carpenters and Bob Dylan. She spent her early twenties in Spain\, Thailand and India; studying yoga and meditation; sleeping on train station floors; washing clothes in the sink; and witnessing the innumerable ways people live. Walking the Camino de Santiago\, a pilgrim’s trail across northern Spain\, she felt “wildly alive. Under the Radar magazine says her music\, “brings forth an abiding sense of warmth and welcome\, offering an uplifting reminder to make the most of every moment.” \nIn 2025 she spent months crisscrossing the US\, two months touring in Germany\, two months performing at The World Expo as an artist in residence in Osaka\, Japan\, and a month touring through Italy on an “End of War Peace Tour” with her WWII era banner Gibson in honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. \nCotter’s songs move effortlessly from the grand to the granular. Take “Coming Your Way\,” a traveler’s anthem about the people who keep her afloat by opening their hearts and homes. Or “The Year of the Wrecking Ball\,” in which the narrator revisits her childhood home and wrestles with the dissolution of her family and sense of continuity. Then there’s “Gone Away\,” a hymn for the lost and downtrodden—or anyone needing to be called back to their life’s purpose. With the precision of an analog photographer\, Cotter adjusts the aperture of her attention to move between the particular and universal qualities of our lives.
