Pinecone Cottage Tea House – Niagara-on-the-Lake Afternoon Tea

I love to escape to Niagara-on-the-Lake and enjoy the tree lined and flower filled streets of the charming old town. There are many unique things to do and see in this lovely part of Ontario. Last summer I was fortunate enough to stay at the Applewood Hollow Bed and Breakfast where Paul and I relaxed in our unique suite with a second-floor bedroom loft. Their breakfast crew of laying hens provided us with fresh country egg dishes and desserts, and they support the local farms. The hands-on cooking class at the Wine Country Cooking School located within Strewn Winery did not disappoint. I adore the way both of these businesses use the incredible diversity and bounty of fruit and produce grown in their own neighborhoods. This is my riff on the menu items created at the cooking class and savored at the B&B.

Pinecone Cottage is now taking reservations for Weekend Afternoon Tea and Tutorials on our website. For Weekend Afternoon Tea or Tutorials, using the reservations tab, make a date and time selection, to conveniently purchase your tickets through your PayPal account or as a guest. Call 630.963.9130 for Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations.

Please register and pay for the Tutorial one week in advance to help ensure it will be held as scheduled. Your registration is a commitment to attend, and fees are non-refundable. A minimum of four guests is required (not four in your party) in order to offer Tutorials. Cancellations must be made at least five days prior to receiving credit for a future event, no exceptions. If you are unable to meet the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If Pinecone Cottage cancels the Tutorial, you will receive a full refund.
