Pinecone Cottage Tea House – Chinese Tea Ceremony and Afternoon Tea

Dan Robertson, owner of The Tea House, is demonstrating a Chinese Gong Fu Tea Ceremony for our Pinecone Cottage guests. Dan has been an importer, blender, and purveyor of premium teas for over 20 years. Gong Fu Tea is not a type of tea, it’s a traditional way of brewing tea involving the ritual preparation and presentation of tea. Dan will be discussing the history and culture surrounding the ceremony and after the ceremony, we’ll enjoy a Chinese dim sum inspired Afternoon Tea.

Pinecone Cottage Weekend Afternoon Tea and Event Policy
Pinecone Cottage is now taking reservations for Weekend Afternoon Tea and most Events on our website. For Weekend Afternoon Tea, using the reservations tab, make your date and time selection, and conveniently purchase your tickets through your PayPal account or as a guest. Please call 630.963.9130 for Weekday Afternoon Tea reservations.

In order to offer Events, a minimum of four guests is necessary (not four in your party). Please register and pay for the event early to help ensure it will be held as scheduled. Your registration is a commitment to attend. Fees are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made at least five days prior to the event to receive credit towards a future event, no exceptions. If you are unable to meet the cancellation deadline, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If Pinecone Cottage cancels the event, you will receive a full refund.
