We are an independent not-for-profit organization led by a board of eight elected Downtown property and business owners and the Downtown Manager. This Corporation was formed for the purpose of promoting the development and expansion of business and to increase valuation of property within this Special Service Area. 

Downtown Management is a liaison with the Village of Downers Grove, Village Council, Downers Grove Economic Development Commission, Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and other organizations regarding downtown business matters. 

The Corporation is working on creating a diverse retail, shopping and service business environment which will increase activity within this area in addition to developing and implementing promotional pieces, advertising campaigns and civic and cultural events which will benefit the business members.  We also recruit and assist members in identifying tenants which enhance the overall business mix in Downtown Downers Grove.

Mission Statement : The Downers Grove Downtown Management Corporation is a non profit organization established to enhance and support business in an authentic and vibrant Downtown Downers Grove.

Vision Statement: The Downers Grove Downtown Management Corporation will be the recognized lead organization in building and sustaining a progressive and diverse downtown business environment that serves its business and property owners and the community. In accordance with the Village Council's goal of an authentic Downtown.
